Lee Kershaw after a Society day here at MGC:
I recently had a golf society day with yourselves on Sunday, 10 May, and I just wanted to email to say thank you for a great day, the clubhouse and golf course were excellent and we all found the staff very welcoming and helpful.
We will certainly be returning hopefully in the near future and i will definitely recommend yourselves to my friends and colleagues.
David from Chorley recently visited the GPC this is what he had to say:
'Just a quick word to thank yourself and Scott for the great service regarding the fitting of my PING irons and Titleist wedges, I picked them up on Friday and hit some balls on the range, the clubs felt right form the second I picked them up.
I played 18 holes on my course on Saturday and by the end of the round I was feeling the real benefit, once I get used to my distances (which I have increased) and the feel of the wedges I am sure they will make a huge difference to my game.
Once again thanks for the professional and friendly manner in which my fitting was conducted, I would have no hesitation in recommending Scott and yourself to my colleagues, I will be in the market for a new driver in a few months and I will definitely be coming back to you.'
Will Darlington from Manchester recently had a driver fitting in the GPC. Scott fitted Will to a Titleist 909 D3, this is what Will had to say following his first game with his new driver.
'My driver arrived today, I couldn't wait to get out on the course and try it out. Amazing difference, the lower flight and spin rate has resulted with at 20 - 30 yards extra distance leaving just short irons into greens.
Thanks for a great fitting - Will'
I received the following email from a Golf Performance Centre customer from Burnley. I think that his email embodies what the Golf Performance Centre is all about:
I visited the Centre last year and with guidance from Scott, I managed to find a driver (Titleist D3), and custom fit my irons. I was extremely impressed that Scott did not push me into buying a new set but merely changed the lie of my irons.
Consequently this summer has been my most consistent, and I am now a proud single figure handicapper.
I would like to re-visit the centre to check on my irons and possibly try a couple of 'new' sets to see if there are superior irons compared to my Srixon clubs in an attempt to maintain and lower my handicap.
I play at Burnley and as such really require a lowish flight - my current irons are fitted with a rifle shaft. I have recently hit a Taylor Made R9 TP - with a stiff KBS shaft. Is it possible to book a visit towards the end of October?
When we opened the Golf Performance Centre in 2009 our vision was to create a Fitting Centre that provided our customers with the option to choose the best product to suit their game from the best companies in golf. We also stated that if we couldn't help to improve a client's game we wouldn't try to sell them anything to replace their existing clubs.
So many times we hear the stories of people going to a discount store and being sold a product that hasn't helped to improve their game and in some case the product they have purchased has totally ruined their game. The Golf Performance Centre is about giving the customer choice, value for money and service with integrity.
