In 2008 I opened the Golf Performance Centre at Manchester Golf Club.
The Centre is the culmination of many years planning. Working with young players such as European Tour Professional, Nick Dougherty I have seen the huge chasm that exists between the amateur and professional game. The Golf Performance Centre realises my ambition to provide my customers with the sort of facilities that are usually only reserved for top professionals, it is the ultimate tool for any golfer that wants to find improvement in their game.

Tuition
Whatever your aim in golf, a course of tuition with one of our golf professionals in the Swing Studio or on the driving range will almost certainly allow you to derive greater pleasure from your round of golf. Sessions are focused, affordable and invaluable, aimed towards helping any individual reach their full potential.
Using only the very latest in technology, V1 DIGITAL VIDEO ANALYSIS, your swing coach will advise you on the best method to help you to achieve maximum improvement.
The Team
The Golf Performance Team includes four PGA Professionals who have a variety of qualifications to help golfers get the very best from their game. Not only do they work on the technical aspects of the swing, they are also able to give golfers exercises and techniques to improve their mental approach on the golf course and golf conditioning exercises to help them get the very best from their swing.
Europe’s leading Sports Psychologist Karl Morris and David Roberts Physiotherapy complete the team they are both currently working with a number of European Tour players and are always at hand to offer help, advice and instruction to Golf Performance Centre customers.
Custom Fitting
When it comes to helping our customers improve their PERFORMANCE we leave nothing to chance at the Golf Performance Centre. We believe in giving our customers what they want and therefore we are trained fitters for Ping, Titleist, Callaway, Taylor Made and Cobra and we carry their full range of demo products.
We use the best ball launch monitor available on the market FLIGHTSCOPE KUDU which provides an extensive set of measured parameters of the golf shot. Unlike some other products the Kudo measures the true 3-dimensional trajectory of the ball flight and ball spin is directly measured at unsurpassed accuracy in this field. The Kudo measures ball speed, carry, trajectory, spin, launch angle, club speed and club path.
Our job doesn’t end there though we also let our customers try demo clubs out on the driving range, in real time, selecting products that they know will work for them, from the leading brands in golf.
Junior Performance
The Junior Performance Team has a wealth of experience when it comes to junior golf. One of the aims of the Team is to share this experience with up and coming golfers.
The Junior Golf Passport which is promoted by the Golf Foundation is the scheme used in the GPC. The Passport has proved to be a great motivation for youngsters, as it provides key skills for game improvement at a steady pace.
Advice can be given on tournaments to enter, developing golfing schedules, body conditioning, within strict parameters set for growing children and developing a strong mental attitude on the golf course - all tailored to the individual.
